At Brissa Impex Private Limited, we operate out of Shop No. 2 in Basti Harphool Singh, right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how hectic it gets. It’s loud, crowded, and there is always someone moving something. Our shop is small, but it’s where we manage all our import and export work. We’ve got shelves full of samples and desks covered in invoices. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just show up every day and deal with the madness of the market. Most of our time is spent talking to wholesalers and making sure our containers are moving. Sometimes the heat in the bazaar is tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom. We just want to make sure the trading side of the business stays afloat. Dealing with the logistics of impex from a busy place like Basti Harphool Singh has its challenges, like the narrow lanes and the traffic jams, but it’s where we belong. We’ve built some good relationships with the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a community of workers and we are just one part of it, doing our bit with the goods we trade. It's hard work, but it keeps us going day in and day out.
