Blessing Cards

Blessing Cards is located in the heart of Chawri Bazar, at Ramnath Market, shop number 127/107. If you’ve ever been to Chawri Bazar, you know it’s a maze of paper and cards. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We spend our days surrounded by different types of paper, envelopes, and samples. It’s a lot of manual work, showing people different designs and helping them pick something for their events. The shop is small, and every inch is used for storage. It can get pretty cramped when a few customers are inside at once. We don't have an air conditioner that works all the time, so it gets warm, but that's just the bazaar life. We’ve been here for many years, following in the footsteps of those who were here before us. We don't do much online stuff; most people still like to come in and touch the paper. It’s a hands-on business. Sometimes we make mistakes with the counts, but we always fix them. It’s not a shiny mall store. It’s an old-school market shop where you talk face to face. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the other shopkeepers while waiting for orders to dry. It’s a bit chaotic, but we wouldn’t really want to be anywhere else. We know the smell of paper better than anything else. It’s just how things are for us here in the market. We just try to make sure people are happy with what they get before they walk out the door. It’s a busy life but a good one.
