Bearing Cave

It’s been a good number of years since we first opened the doors here at 485/1 Hamiltion Road. Being located in Zeenat Bari, right in the heart of the Kashmere Gate area, means there is never a dull moment or a quiet day. Most mornings start with moving a few heavy crates around just so we have enough room to walk between the shelves. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every single bearing is tucked away. People usually stop by when they have something broken or need a part that they can’t find anywhere else in the market. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workspace filled with steel parts, grease, and the sound of the traffic outside on the main road. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just how it is working in this part of town. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking stocks or talking to regulars who have been coming to us for a decade. It’s a simple life, really. We handle the orders, pack things up, and try to make sure we don't mix up the sizes. The shop isn't much to look at from the street, but it gets the job done for the folks around here. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work.
