Bachatshree India Nidhi Limited

Our place is House No 101 in Village Khureni, which is in the Narela area. Bachatshree India Nidhi Limited is run right from this house. It is a very different feeling from being in the center of New Delhi. Out here in the village, things move at a slower pace. The office is basically a front room that we have set up with a couple of tables and chairs. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything that comes through the door. Most of our visitors are people we have known for a long time. We sit down and talk about their needs while we write everything down in our records. The walls are plain white and we have a few pictures of family and local scenes hanging up. Sometimes you can hear the sounds of the village outside, like tractors or animals, while we are working. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We don't wear suits or act like corporate bosses. We are just regular people from the village doing our jobs. The desk is usually covered in papers and tea coasters. We work through the morning and take a long break when it gets too hot in the afternoon. It is a practical and comfortable way for us to manage the business while staying close to our roots in Khureni.
