Ashwani Singh & Associates

Our place, Ashwani Singh & Associates, is located over in Burari at Plot Number 54/1. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we have set up our base. We are right near Little Star Public School, so the mornings are always loud with school buses and parents dropping off their kids. The office itself is quite plain. We didn’t spend much on decorations because we are mostly busy with work. There are files everywhere, on the tables and even some on the floor in the corners. Ashwani is usually here early, and the rest of us trickle in soon after. We spend a lot of time discussing cases or whatever work is on the agenda for that week. The neighborhood is a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that is just part of living and working in this part of Delhi. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, though the kettle is a bit temperamental lately. Most people who come to see us are locals or people who have known us for years. We don't really have a big reception area, just a few chairs for people to wait. It’s a very practical environment. We just do our jobs, talk to our neighbors, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline, but we usually try to keep regular hours to avoid the worst of the evening rush.
