If you walk down Idgah Main Road in Motia Khan, you’ll find us easily. The clinic is right in the middle of all the noise and activity of the main road. There’s always someone selling something outside, and the sounds of horns and people shouting are just part of the background here. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city moving outside. The floor is made of old tiles that have some cracks, and we have a few wooden benches for people to wait on. We usually open up quite early before the sun gets too hot. Motia Khan is a crowded area, so we get people coming in all day long. The room where we see people is small, with just enough space for a desk and a chair. We keep our supplies in a glass cabinet that’s seen better days. There is a small sink in the corner that drips if you don’t turn the handle just right. We don’t have a website or any fancy phone systems. People just know we are here on Idgah Main Road. Most of our day is spent talking to folks and writing things down in their files. It’s a very simple operation. We know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of the road. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool for a bit of fresh air when it’s not too busy.
