Chandni Chowk is always a bit of a mess with all the crowds, but that is exactly where you will find Apna Studio Pvt. Ltd. We are up on the first floor in units 32 and 33. It is right in Kuchachowdhary, across from the S.B.I. branch. You have to climb a set of stairs, and sometimes the lighting in the hallway isn't the best, but once you get inside, it is a whole different world. It is so crowded outside with all the rickshaws and people moving about that it is actually quite nice to get upstairs and away from the noise for a bit. We have been here in this old building for many years. The walls are thick, and you can still hear the faint sound of the market below if you really listen closely. We have a lot of equipment and stuff crammed into these two rooms. It is not a big corporate space at all. It feels more like a workshop where things are always being moved around to make a little space for whatever project we are working on that day. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day of work, especially if we are carrying things. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first arrived, but this corner of Chandni Chowk stays pretty much the same. We know the guys at the tea stall downstairs and the other shopkeepers nearby. It is a tight squeeze, but it is home for us.
