Aman Electric Company

If you’ve ever been to Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded it gets. Our shop, Aman Electric Company, is right there at 1814 in the heart of the electrical market. It’s a noisy, busy place where you have to dodge carts and people just to get through the door. We’ve been here for years, surrounded by wires, bulbs, and every kind of switch you can imagine. The walls are lined with boxes all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes it feels like the whole place might burst. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy website; we're just a local business where you can come and get what you need for your house or your shop. My uncle started this place, and now we all help out. We know our stock pretty well, though sometimes we have to dig around to find that one specific part someone is asking for. It gets really hot in the summer, and the monsoon rains make the alleys a bit messy, but this market is our home. We don't do much advertising because people usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We’re not looking to expand into a giant chain. We just want to keep the lights on and help our customers find the right parts at a fair price. It’s a lot of work, but we like the energy of Chandni Chowk.
