You’ll find Alamgeer Trading Corporation right in the heart of Urdu Bazar, near Jama Masjid. The address is 4142. It is a very busy area, always crowded with people and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with stock. There isn't much room to move around, but we know where every single item is located. It’s been this way for years. We deal with a lot of traders and walk-in customers. It gets loud and sometimes a bit chaotic, especially in the afternoons. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that hum all day. Working here means being part of the history of the bazar. We talk to the same people every day and keep track of our trades in thick notebooks. It’s a very hands-on business. There’s no fancy marketing or polished presentations here. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. The streets outside are narrow, so getting goods delivered can be a bit of a challenge, but we manage. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the festive seasons.
