Aggarwal Bag & Hosiery House

Our shop is located at 5825 in Gali Matke Wali, which is right in the heart of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s a maze. We deal in bags and various hosiery items. It’s a lot of lifting heavy sacks and boxes every single day. My hands are usually a bit dusty from the packaging. We don’t really have a big office or anything, just the shop floor where everything happens. It gets quite loud outside with the vendors shouting and the carts rolling past. We've been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just stock the goods and sell them to whoever walks in or calls us up. Sometimes the shipments are late, and we have to scramble to keep customers happy, but that’s just part of the trade. The lighting in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we know exactly where every item is stored. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around to help out. We spend most of our time checking lists and making sure the inventory matches up. It’s a basic setup, really. Just a lot of bags, a lot of socks, and a lot of hours spent in this small corner of the market. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the stock we have, so we just stack it higher.
