Adjuncture Consulting Services is a one-person company, or an OPC, and I run it out of my place at House No 18A on Swaran Singh Road in Adarsh Nagar. I’ve lived in North Delhi for a long time, so I decided to set up my office right here in Block-A. It’s not a corporate office with a glass front. It’s just a room in the house that I’ve dedicated to my consulting work. I have a desk, a computer, and a lot of books about business and law. I help smaller companies and individuals with things like registrations and general advice. Because it’s just me, I can take my time with each person who comes by. I don't have a secretary, so I answer all the calls and emails myself. It gets busy, and sometimes I’m still working late into the night, but I enjoy it. The neighborhood is good, and it’s nice to work where I live. I don't have any big advertisements. People usually find me because someone they know told them I did a decent job for them. I try to keep things very simple and honest. If I don't know the answer to something, I’ll tell you and then I’ll go look it up. There’s no point in pretending to be something I’m not. It’s just a small, local consulting service for people who need a bit of help.
