Bisworth Constructions Private Limited

We are based out of Naveen Nagar in Diglipur. If you know the North and Middle Andaman area, you know it’s a bit of a trek to get out here. Bisworth Constructions Private Limited is just a small local group doing building work. Being on the Andaman Islands means things move a bit slower sometimes. Getting materials across the water is always a challenge. We spend a lot of time waiting for shipments at the jetty. When the stuff finally arrives, we’re out there in the heat getting it moved to the site. It’s dusty work and it’s usually very hot. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We’re usually out where the dirt is. We’ve built a few things around Naveen Nagar and the surrounding villages. It’s not about being the biggest company; it’s just about getting the walls up straight and the roofs on tight. We use local labor because those are the people we know. Sometimes the weather stops us for days when the monsoon hits hard and the rain doesn't let up. You can’t really plan for that, you just wait it out. We’ve lived here a long time, so we understand how the ground is and what works for these islands. It’s just us, a few trucks, and a lot of concrete. We keep things straightforward and don't make promises we can't keep. It is honest work in a tough place.
