We are located out in Village Bijna, which you get to via Garifa. Our post office is Madarpore, and we are right near the Dhankal area in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s where we are needed. Being a government-related spot for West Bengal, we have a lot of paperwork and people coming in with questions. The office is pretty basic, just the usual desks and cabinets full of files. The area around here is quite green and quiet, which is a nice change from the crowded urban spots. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy during the monsoon season, so we have to watch our step. We aren't here to be flashy or use big words. We just handle the tasks assigned to us and try to help out the locals who drop by. It’s a 743166 pin code area, so it’s definitely got that rural feel. We have our tea breaks under the trees sometimes. It’s a slow and steady kind of work environment. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done.
