Va Tech Wabag Ltd has a spot here in Naihati. We are located at 5/A Bijoynagar in the 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is a bit far from the main city of Kolkata but we like it here. Bishnu Pada Biswas is often the one you will see around the office. We do work related to water treatment plants. It is very important because everyone needs clean water but it’s not the kind of job people talk about much. Our office is a simple place with a few desks and some old fans. It gets very humid here in the summer so we move a bit slower then. We don't have any marketing brochures or polished speeches. We just talk to the local authorities and the contractors. We have been part of this community for a long time. People know where to find us in Bijoynagar. Sometimes the phones don't work or the internet is slow and we just have to wait. That's just part of life here. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass building. We are just workers who know our trade. We take the local train or buses to get around. It is an honest living and we try to do the best we can with the tools we have. We’ve seen many projects through from start to finish over the years. We just keep our heads down and work.
