Usha Martin Limited

Our place is tucked away in Rajarhat New Town, specifically in the Balaka Abasan area at A/9/2/5. If you know Kolkata, you know how much this area has changed over the last few years. It used to be much quieter, but now there are buildings going up everywhere you look. We have been in this spot for a while now, watching the neighborhood grow around us. The office itself is pretty simple and doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a couple of computers that sometimes take a while to start up in the morning. Most of us commute from different parts of the city, so the morning talk is usually about how bad the traffic was or if the bus was late again. We don't really do anything flashy here. We just handle the business for Usha Martin Limited and try to keep things moving. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes it is nice to just watch people walking by during a quick break. Lunchtime is when everyone relaxes a bit and shares whatever food they brought from home. It is a regular job with regular people just trying to make a living and keep the paperwork in order. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our name on the door.
