We run things out of Shakti Ghar in Bongaon. It’s close to both the Post Office and the Police Station, so it’s a very easy spot to find if you are in the area. The space we have is where all the activity happens. We spend a lot of time on the floor, and you can usually hear the sound of people moving around from the street outside. It’s not a quiet place, especially in the evenings when things get busy with everyone arriving. We have some basic equipment, some mats, and not much else. The walls have a few scuffs from all the years of use. It smells a bit like sweat and hard work, which is normal for a place like this. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come in, you just see us doing what we do. We’ve been part of the Bongaon community for a long time. People around here know the building well. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon rains are heavy, so we have to move things around to keep them dry. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous group. We just want a place where people can come and learn. It’s a practical setup for us. We keep the lights on and the doors open. Every day is pretty much the same, filled with movement and regular practice.
