Working at Unit Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. keeps us pretty busy most weeks. Our base is at Ae-304, Sector 1, right in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. It’s a decent location for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily from here. We do all sorts of building work around the neighborhood. Some days it is just small fixes and other times we are starting something from the ground up. The heat in Kolkata can be tough in the summer months but we just keep at it. Our team is small but we have been doing this for years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It’s just us and our tools. We try to keep our clients updated on how things are going even if the news isn't always perfect. Delays happen sometimes with rain or shipping. That is just life in construction. We mostly focus on getting the structures solid. Most of our work comes from people who have seen what we did for their neighbors. We like being in Sector 1 because it feels like home to us now. There is always a lot of noise and activity around our office. We are just a group of people who enjoy building things and seeing a project finish. It feels good to look at a completed wall or room. We don't need much more than that to be happy at work.
