Our place is located at 29, Dum Dum Park in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know it is a bit more relaxed than the middle of the city. Ucci (I) Pvt Ltd. operates out of this building, and we have been here long enough to know all the local rickshaw pullers by sight. The building itself is just a regular Kolkata structure, nothing too modern or flashy. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the usual office paperwork and sitting through the humid afternoons. The ceiling fans are always spinning here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit noisy, especially near the main park entrance, but inside we just keep our heads down. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a few rooms where we sit and work. Most of the staff takes their lunch together, and we often talk about the local news or what is happening in the neighborhood. The address is easy to find if you are familiar with Dum Dum Park. We like being in this part of the city because it feels like a real community. There are plenty of trees around, which helps when the heat gets bad in the summer months. We are usually here from morning until the evening, just handling the regular business that comes through the door. It is a simple way of working, and we are quite used to the rhythm of this place now.
