Our office is located at 231 Dum Dum Park in Kolkata. It’s a familiar area for us and we’ve been here for quite some time. The work we do is all about transport and making sure things get from one place to another. It sounds simple but it involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of many moving parts. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and the traffic around Dum Dum Park can be quite a challenge for our drivers. Inside the office, it’s a pretty standard setup. We have our ledgers, some old computers, and a few fans to keep the air moving. It gets humid in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have any grand statements or mission papers on the walls. We just focus on the daily logistics and trying to stay organized. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we know how things work. We talk to people from all over and try to help them with their shipping needs. It’s honest, hardworking stuff. We take our breaks at the local tea shop and then get back to the paperwork. There’s always something that needs to be fixed or a driver who needs directions. We just take it as it comes. It’s a modest way to run a business.
