Our office is based in Sector II of Salt Lake in Kolkata, specifically at Ee-204/3. If you’ve ever been to Salt Lake, you know it’s laid out in blocks and sectors, which makes it feel a bit more organized than the rest of the city. We’re in a quiet enough spot where we can actually focus on our consultancy work. It’s mostly tech stuff, so we spend a lot of time looking at code and talking to people on the phone. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a functional building where we’ve set up our computers and servers. We have a small team here. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes in. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but the AC usually holds up. We don't really do the corporate jargon thing. We just talk about what needs to be fixed and who is doing what. It’s a relaxed environment in some ways, but we still work hard to meet our targets. Salt Lake has a lot of little parks and places to eat, so we usually get out for a bit at lunch. It’s a good location for us. We’ve been here for a while and have a routine that works. There’s always a lot of tea being drunk while we troubleshoot different issues. It’s just a normal day at the office for us, and we are fine with that routine.
