Tahiria Hospital

Tahiria Hospital is located out in Jangalati, which most people around here call Kalikapur. We are right in the Haroa area, under the Basirhat sub division. It is a busy place most mornings because people travel from the surrounding villages to see us. The building sits there on the road and you can't really miss it if you are looking for the post office or the police station nearby. We have been here for a while now, just doing the work that needs to be done for the patients who walk through the doors. It gets dusty sometimes when the trucks go by on the main road, but that is just how it is in this part of Basirhat. The staff usually arrives early to get things ready before the heat of the day kicks in. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a plain hospital where people come when they aren't feeling well or need someone to look at an injury. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded, especially on market days, but everyone just finds a spot to sit and waits their turn. We try to keep things moving as much as we can. It’s a local spot, run by people who know the area well. Most of us live nearby, so we see our neighbors coming in quite often. That is just how life goes at the hospital in Haroa.
