I run my photography business on Barndragali Main Road. It’s right here in the Halisahar area of North 24 Parganas. If you are looking for the place, it is a simple setup on the main road. My days are usually spent either out at a shoot or sitting here editing pictures. The walls are mostly covered with some old frames and some prints I liked. I have been doing this for a long time in Halisahar. People know me for taking photos at weddings or local events. My camera bag is always sitting by the door ready to go. Barndragali Main Road is always busy with cycles and people walking to the station. Sometimes I just stand outside for a break and watch the world go by. It’s not a big fancy studio with white lights everywhere. It’s just a room where I keep my gear and do my work. I handle everything myself, from clicking the shutter to printing the final shots. The computer I use for editing is getting a bit old but it still works fine. I like the light that comes through the window in the afternoon. Photography is just what I do. It’s a job that keeps me moving around the district. Whether it is a small family function or a big celebration, I’m usually there with my lens. It’s a quiet life when I’m not at a party taking pictures of people dancing.
