Sriniketan Fashion is located at 233 Lenin Nagar in Garulia. It’s in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. The building is just a regular spot on the street where we manage the clothing side of things. It’s usually pretty busy inside with people checking samples or looking over orders. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we know the people living around us. Sometimes we have local workers coming in to help when things get really hectic. We don’t bother with big marketing campaigns. We just focus on making sure the clothes look right and that they get sent out to the shops on time. There’s always piles of fabric or boxes sitting around, which is just part of the job. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we have our own system that works for us. We like being in Garulia because it’s where we started. It feels like home. We’re just regular people trying to run a fashion business without making it too complicated or pretending to be something we’re not. Sometimes the sewing machines in the back make a lot of noise, but it's a sound we've grown to like. It means we're busy. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon hunger kicks in.
