We are located out in Village Naihati, under the Badartala post office in Basirhat. It’s in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Being out here means things are a bit slower than in the big city of Kolkata, which suits us just fine. Sri Balaji Metals & Minerals (P) Ltd. is basically a group of local people who know the land and the materials we work with. If you need to reach us, people usually just email Avijit at the Gmail address we use for everything. Our office is a simple building surrounded by the local scenery. We don't have a lobby with a receptionist or fancy coffee machines. We just have a few desks, some old files, and people who have been doing this for years. Most of our work involves dealing with the metals and minerals found in this region. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and making sure the transport is sorted out. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for an hour, but that is just life in the village. We take care of the business and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s not a complicated setup. We start early in the morning when it’s still cool and finish up when the work is done. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works well for us.
