Over in Charghat, which is part of North 24 Parganas, you’ll find us working at Simplex Infrastructures Limited. Our location is right in the village, so we’re very much a part of the local scene. It’s a place where we keep our tools, our trucks, and all the stuff we need for the projects we have going on. The day usually starts with a lot of noise as the engines crank up. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby or anything like that. Our "office" is often just a desk near the back where we keep track of the hours and the inventory. It can get pretty hectic when a big delivery arrives, and everyone has to pitch in. We have a lot of guys from the village who work here, so it feels like a neighborhood spot. The weather can be a real challenge, especially when the rains come and the ground gets soft, but we’ve seen it all before. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s expected of us. It’s not a complicated setup. We talk to each other plainly, solve problems as they come up, and try to keep things moving. Most people in Charghat know who we are because they see our vehicles moving through the narrow streets. We’ve been here quite a while, just being a regular business that does its job without making a big fuss about it, just making sure the trucks are loaded and ready.
