Simplex Infrastructures Limited

If you travel out to Panchpota in the Gaighata area, you will run into our Simplex Infrastructures Limited office. It is located right in the heart of North 24 Parganas, and it is a pretty busy little corner of the world. We have been stationed here for a while, and the place has a real lived-in feel to it. There are stacks of blueprints on the desks and muddy footprints on the floor from people coming in from the sites. We don't try to keep it looking like a showroom because that just isn't realistic for what we do. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the area like the back of their hands. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to make sure the supplies arrive at the right village or post office at the right time. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes a bit of healthy arguing over the best way to move heavy machinery through narrow lanes. We don't use a lot of big words or talk about missions and visions. We just talk about concrete, steel, and deadlines. When the day is over, we lock up the gate and head home, usually pretty tired. It is honest work, and we are glad to be doing it in a place like Panchpota where people appreciate a straightforward approach. No one is here for the glory; we are just here to get the infrastructure built properly.
