Our spot is at 8-A in Dum Dum Park. It’s a bit of a different feel compared to the center of the city, with a little more green and some space to breathe. But inside Simplex Infrastructure Ltd., it’s still all about the work. We handle the planning and the back-end stuff for our construction projects from this office. It’s a comfortable enough place, but we don't spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of our desks are covered in site photos and technical drawings. We get a lot of people coming in and out, from drivers to engineers, so the floor stays a bit scuffed. We like it that way because it shows we are actually doing something. Dum Dum Park is a nice area, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. We don't feel the need to act like some big corporate entity. We are just a group of people who understand how to build things. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and things get a bit stressful, but we just have another cup of tea and keep at it. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here, between the site visits and the late-evening meetings to clear the day's tasks. We don’t make big promises or use marketing talk. We just show the results of our labor. It’s a practical office for a practical business, and that is exactly how we like to run things.
