Shapoorji Paloonji & Co. Ltd.

We are located out in Sikrakulin Gram, in the 24 North Pgs district. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't used to the area, but we like it here. Shapoorji Paloonji & Co. Ltd. has been operating from this village spot for some time now. The pace of life is a little different than the big city offices. We don't have a lot of tall buildings around us, just the local houses and some open space. Our office is a straightforward building where we keep all our records and equipment. We get started early in the morning before it gets too hot to think. Most of the staff live nearby or come in from the surrounding villages. There is no big cafeteria, so we all just sit together and have our lunch from our tiffin boxes. It's a very grounded way to work. We deal with whatever problems come up that day. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just build things and manage the tasks at hand. People in the village know us by now and we are part of the local scene. It’s a quiet place to get things done without all the noise and distractions of a city. We have our files organized the best we can and we stay busy with the local projects. It’s honest work in a quiet corner of West Bengal.
