Our main office is out in Laxmi Narayan Colony in Barasat. If you are coming from Kolkata, you have to head towards North 24 Parganas. It’s a bit of a trip, but that is where we are based. The area is called Nabapally and the police station is Barasat. It’s a very local feel here. We have trees around the office and the streets are a bit narrow. The building is part of the Senbo Group, but this branch feels more like a neighborhood spot. We have people from the local colony working here. During the monsoons, the rain really pours down and the whole place smells like wet earth. We deal with a lot of different projects from this office. Inside, it is a mix of old furniture and some newer computers. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights. People know where we are because we’ve been here for years. We start the day early before the humidity gets too bad. There is always someone coming in with a register or a form to sign. We talk about the work, have our lunch together, and then get back to it. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just run the group’s business from this corner of West Bengal and keep things moving as best as we can every day.
