Sandvik Asia Ltd

Our office for Sandvik Asia Ltd is located at 15, Sharat Chandra Roypath in the Authpur area. We are way out in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from the middle of the city, but this is where we have set up our shop. The Authpur post office is the main landmark we tell people to look for. It’s a quiet enough spot, mostly just homes and a few other small businesses nearby. We have been here for a good amount of time. Our workspace is very simple and we don’t really go in for any high-end office decor. It’s just a place where we can sit down and handle the administration and the logistics for this part of the region. We have our daily routine. We come in, check the mail, and start on the piles of paperwork. There is not much drama or excitement here. We just try to stay on top of things. The road outside can get pretty muddy when the rains are heavy, which happens a lot in this part of West Bengal, but we are all used to that by now. We know the people in the neighboring buildings and the local shopkeepers. It’s a comfortable and low-key place to spend the day. We aren’t trying to be something we aren't. We are just a local branch doing our daily work. It’s a humble setup, but it’s functional and it allows us to stay on top of our responsibilities without any extra frills.
