Sab Food Processor

Sab Food Processor is located right on the Kalyani Expressway in Kamalpur. To find us, you have to look for the area near Dakshin Hansia, which is not too far from the post office in Shyamnagar. Being right by the expressway means there is a constant roar of traffic, mostly big trucks carrying goods back and forth. It is a very busy, dusty location. The police station at Jagatdal is just down the road too, so there are always people moving around. Our facility is a large shed-like structure where we process various food items. It is a noisy place inside because of the machines and the big fans we have to keep the air moving. We get started very early in the morning when the fog is still on the road. The work is repetitive—cleaning, drying, and grinding—but it is what we do. We don't have any comfortable chairs or air conditioning; it is a working floor through and through. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we eat together in a small corner near the back exit. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment is delayed or if the machines need a bit of fixing. It isn't a glamorous job, and the location isn't particularly pretty, but it is a solid business. We know the local truck drivers and the guys at the post office by their first names.
