We have been based at 38/2, Basudevpur Road for a good while now. It is a pretty busy spot in Shyamnagar, especially when the local shops are opening up in the morning. Rvp Pvt.Ltd. is not some big, fancy corporation with a lobby and glass doors. It is just a regular office in the 24 Pgs district where we handle our daily tasks. The building is older and has its own set of problems, like the occasional leaky roof when the monsoon hits hard. We just put a bucket under it and keep working. Inside, it is mostly just desks, a few computers that have been around for years, and a lot of paper files. We are a small team of local folks. Some of us walk to work or take the bus. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing away. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do. We usually take a break in the afternoon to get some tea from the stall down the street. It is a simple life in Shyamnagar. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. We just show up and try to get the work finished so we can get home to our families.
