Roy Watch & Co.

Our shop is tucked away in Peerless Nagar, over at C-7/101 in Sodepur. It’s a small space, but it fits everything we need. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench with a magnifying glass. There’s always a pile of watches waiting to be looked at, some just need a new battery while others have been sitting in a drawer for years. Sodepur is a busy place, but once you step inside here, it feels a lot slower. You can hear the constant ticking from the walls. It’s not fancy at all. The shelves are a bit dusty and the chairs are old, but they’re comfortable enough for a long day. We get a lot of people from around the neighborhood dropping by. Sometimes they just want to chat while we fix a strap. It gets hot in the summers, so the ceiling fan stays on all day, making its own clicking sound. We’ve been Roy Watch & Co. for a long time, and we don’t plan on changing how we operate. We just take the watches as they come and try to get them back in working order. It’s quiet work, mostly. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the trade. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. Sodepur has changed, but the way a watch works stays the same. We just keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the gears.
