R. N. Steel Furniture & Engineering Works

We are out in Vill- Debgarh. It's near Rail Gate No.- 2. If you know Bangaon, you know where we are. The shop is called R. N. Steel Furniture & Engineering Works. It’s a long name for a small place. We do a bit of everything with steel. Welding, cutting, making frames. It’s mostly manual work. The trains go by the gate and we just keep working. It's loud sometimes. Postp.S.- Bangaon is the official area. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary. Usually, one of us is out back with the torch or the grinder. The shop is just a basic shed really. We’ve got piles of metal and finished pieces waiting to be picked up. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the trains. We don't put on any acts. We are just local guys making furniture and doing engineering bits. People come to us because we are right there by Rail Gate No.- 2. We don’t have any big goals other than finishing the work on time. R. N. Steel Furniture & Engineering Works is just a part of the village life here in Debgarh. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Some days we have more scrap metal than we know what to do with, but we sort it eventually. It’s just how we run things here. There is no polish to the place, just work.
