You can find us at M 22/18 in the Moonbeam Complex. This part of Newtown is still growing, so there is always some construction happening nearby around Akankha More. We have a set of rooms where we hold our classes. It is mostly for students from the local housing complexes who need some extra help with their schoolwork. The complex itself is quite modern, but our unit is just a regular setup with whiteboards and rows of benches. It gets a bit quiet in the afternoons before the kids arrive after their school day ends. We spend a lot of time organizing notes and checking schedules. The walk from the main road isn't too long, though it can get muddy if it has been raining. Kolkata weather is always a factor, so we have a place for people to leave their umbrellas by the door. The lighting is bright enough for reading, and we keep the windows shut to keep the mosquitoes out in the evenings. It is just a place where studying happens. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so usually one of us just opens the door when someone knocks. It is a straightforward business, no frills or extras. We focus on the lessons and keeping the place tidy for the next group that comes in. There is a small shop nearby where students often go to get photocopies made for their homework.
