Primera Opcion Foods Private Limited is based over at 45-B Kabi Mukunda Das Road in Dum Dum Cantt. This part of North 24 Parganas is always moving, and Kabi Mukunda Das Road is no exception. Our office and storage area are in a pretty standard building that blends in with the rest of the street. Inside, it’s mostly just boxes of food products and a couple of desks where we handle the paperwork. We spend a lot of our time talking to distributors and trying to get the timing right for our deliveries. The traffic around Dum Dum Cantt can be a real pain, so we have to plan everything carefully or things get delayed. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of layers; it’s just a handful of us making sure things run right. The space is a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we usually have to move the furniture around just to make room. We don’t use any of those big words like "innovation" or "excellence." We just get the food where it needs to go. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can finish the billing. It’s a lot of everyday hurdles and small victories. We’ve been at 45-B for a while now and we know the neighbors pretty well. It’s just a regular local business doing its best.
