Pragati Yatra

Pragati Yatra is located over in Birati, specifically in Mahajati Nagar. We are right near the new building of the North Dumdum Municipality Hospital. If you know that area, you’ll find us easily enough at 38/2. It’s a neighborhood where everyone kind of knows each other. We help people with their travel plans and yatra bookings. It’s a humble setup, nothing too fancy. We have a few desks and some old calendars on the wall. We mostly talk to families from around here who want to go on a pilgrimage or a short holiday. We don’t do big marketing or have a team of writers. We just answer the phone and talk to people face to face. Sometimes the office gets a bit busy when a group is planning a big trip together. We try to keep track of all the trains and hotels, which isn't always easy. Living in Kolkata, we understand that things take time, so we don't rush through the details. We’ve been at this for a while and we like being part of the community here. If you’re near the hospital, you can just stop by and we can talk about where you want to go next. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't make big promises, we just do our best to make sure your travel goes as planned.
