Our location in Vill-Dighara, near Duttapukur, is a busy little hub for us. Being in North 24 Parganas, we are close enough to Kolkata to feel the rush but far enough out that things still feel like the countryside. At Om Logistics, we don't have a lot of time for sitting around. There’s always a truck that needs a manifest or a driver looking for directions. The office is often a bit messy with papers and tea cups, but that’s just how we work. We know most of the people in the village and they’re used to seeing our vehicles moving through the narrow lanes. Sometimes the traffic at the railway crossing nearby holds everything up for an hour, and we just have to wait it out. It’s part of the daily routine here in West Bengal. We don’t use any of those big marketing phrases because they don’t really fit what we do. We’re just moving boxes and crates from one town to the next. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity is high and the mosquitoes are out in the evening, but we’ve been doing it a long time. The team here is like a small family, and we just try to keep things running as smooth as we can despite the bumps in the road. It’s a practical business run by local people.
