Dealing with electronics at Nick Nack over here in Sector-V can get a bit hectic. Our building, Shockley Hall, is right in the middle of all the Salt Lake City action. We are at Dn-3, and if you know this area, you know how many people are running around between the IT offices. It’s mostly a lot of boxes and cables around here. We spend a lot of time testing things out and making sure everything works like it should before it goes out. The air conditioner usually makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a workplace, not a showroom, so there are always parts lying around on the desks. We share the space with the Shockley Hall Electronics crew, and things can get a little crowded when a new shipment arrives. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, so we just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Most of the people who come by are working in the nearby tech parks and need something quickly for their office or a project they are stuck on. It’s not very glamorous, just a lot of soldering and checking specifications on screens. We don't really do much advertising; people just seem to find us when they need a specific component or a repair. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy from morning till the lights go off in the evening.
