Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited

Over at 75A/1 Shyam Nagar Road, we run things for Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited in Kolkata. It’s a typical city office, maybe a bit cramped because of all the files we have to keep. We deal with various construction projects around the city. The atmosphere is usually a bit frantic because there’s always something happening on a site that needs immediate attention. We don't have a lot of time for formalities. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us staring at monitors or talking over each other to get a point across. It’s a very hands-on environment. We handle the local hiring and the procurement of cement and steel for the jobs nearby. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the project schedules to worry about that. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass building. We are just a group of people who know how to put buildings together. It gets humid here, and the ceiling fans never seem to move fast enough. We have our fair share of mistakes and delays, but we always try to fix them and keep moving forward. It’s honest work, and we don't try to dress it up as anything else. Just a bunch of us working through the daily grind of the construction industry. We often have a stack of newspapers on the break table that nobody has time to read.
