M/S Bapi Construction

We are based in a small village called Kolsur, which is in the Deganga area of North 24 Parganas. It’s a quiet place, away from the big city noise of Kolkata. Our office for M/S Bapi Construction is right there in the village, so everyone knows us. We’ve been doing construction work for the locals and the surrounding areas for years. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big corporate office or a floor of secretaries. It’s usually just a few of us sitting around a table figuring out the next job. We work with local materials and local people. Construction in the village is different from the city; it’s more personal. People come to our house or office to talk about their plans. We don’t use any marketing tricks. We just tell people what we can do and then we get started. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially during the monsoon, but we catch up eventually. We’re just a small-town business trying to do right by our neighbors. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do.
