This office of Mfar Construction is located out in Madhyamgram, specifically over on Badu Road in the Rani Park area. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center of Kolkata, but it works for us because we deal with a lot of projects in the North 24 Parganas side. The office is tucked away, so it’s usually quieter than the sites we manage. We handle a lot of the local logistics from here. Usually, there is someone in the office by early morning to handle the deliveries or talk to the supervisors. It’s a practical space. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look corporate. We just need enough room for our files and a place to sit and have tea while we plan out the week’s work. The weather can be a bit much during the monsoon, and the road gets muddy, but the work doesn't stop. We have been part of this neighborhood for a bit now. People around here know us as the construction folks. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the loudest company out there. We just want to get the buildings up right and keep our guys safe on the job. It involves a lot of paperwork and even more time spent on the phone, but that is the reality of this trade. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can.
