Our place is on School Road in Sodepur, specifically at C/29. Sodepur is a busy suburb, and School Road usually has kids and parents going back and forth all day. We are located in a spot that’s easy to find once you get off the main path. The office is pretty basic. We have some tables, a couple of computers, and a lot of ledgers. We deal with various things on a global scale, but our daily life is very local. We go to the same shop for snacks and know the people at the post office by name. The building we are in is older, so it has high ceilings which helps keep it cool when it gets humid. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on the logistics of our shipments. There’s a lot of back-and-forth communication involved in what we do. Sometimes we stay late when the time zones don't line up, drinking way too much tea to stay awake. It’s just the way the business is. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing down. We just keep doing our thing here on School Road, making sure the paperwork is correct and the items are moving as they should be. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do and it pays the bills.
