Madhusudan Construction

We are based at number 1, Madhusudan Banerjee Road in Belgharia, Kolkata. It’s a bit of a coincidence that the road has the same name as our company, Madhusudan Construction, but it makes the address very easy to tell people. Belgharia is a very crowded part of town, especially if you are near the railway station. Our office is right on the main road, so there is always a lot of activity and noise outside the door. You can hear the rickshaw bells and the people shouting all through the day. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and thick walls that help a little with the sound. Inside, we have a few rooms where we keep all our construction papers and some equipment. It’s definitely not a polished corporate office. There is often a bit of dust on the shelves and the furniture is a bit mismatched from being bought at different times. We don't really care about how it looks as long as we can get our work done. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea for anyone who stops by to chat. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. We don't have a receptionist, so you just walk in and someone will come to talk to you. Most of our work is done out on the sites, so the office is just a place to touch base and handle the bills. We’ve been at this 700056 location for years. It’s an honest place to work.
