L & T

L & T is currently operating out of this address in Kolkata, care of Mr. Gouranga Ch. Banik. It is over in the 700125 pin code area. It is a bit of a local setup, nothing like those huge, cold office buildings you see in the movies or in the city center. We share the space and keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the work. West Bengal has its own way of doing things, and we fit right into that daily rhythm. It is a bit more personal here because of the location and how we have things set up. We know the people around us and we don't put on any airs or pretend to be fancy. If you come by to see us, you are likely to see a few of us sitting around a wooden table getting through the day's paperwork and drinking some tea. It is not glamorous, but it is real work and it keeps us busy. We do not use big, complicated words to describe what we do. We just do it. Mr. Banik’s place gives us a steady base to work from every day. Kolkata is a crowded and loud city, so having a reliable spot like this is very important for us. We keep our schedules but aren't afraid to have a long chat about the day. It is a very human way to run a business. No corporate handbooks or strange slogans. Just L & T, trying to stay busy and helpful in our own small way. It works for us and we just keep going.
