Our office is situated in Salt Lake City, specifically in Block AL at Plot Number 201. We are right in Sector 2, very close to Tank Number 8, which is how most people find us. Kolkata is a big city, but this part of Salt Lake feels a bit more organized with all the blocks and plots. We work out of a building that has seen many seasons. Inside, we have our desks set up in a way that allows us to shout across the room when we need something. It’s not a quiet place, as there’s always someone talking on the phone or typing away. We deal with the corporation's business from this spot, making sure all the accounts and orders are in order. The walk from the main road isn't too long, and we often see the local vendors selling snacks by the tank. We spend our days going through spreadsheets and talking to different departments. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just take a collective breath until the generator kicks in. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a fancy canteen, so we usually bring our tiffin boxes from home. The walls are covered with old calendars and some notes we’ve pinned up over the months. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend eight or nine hours a day. We keep things moving without needing any big corporate speeches or missions.
