Gammon Cooling Towers Limited

We are based in Hindusthan Colony, which is over in East Vidyadhar Pur. This is in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like the quiet of the area. We work on cooling towers. It is specialized work, but we find it interesting. The team is small but we know what we are doing. We don't have a big marketing department or any glossy magazines about ourselves. We just deal with the technical side of things every day. The office is a simple building that keeps the rain out. In this part of Bengal, the humidity can be quite something, so we're used to the heat. We don't use a lot of corporate talk here. We just say things as they are. If a project is running behind, we stay later to catch up. Most of the people working here live nearby. It gives the place a local feel. We aren't trying to be some global giant. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Sometimes we sit outside for a break when the weather is nice. It is a very grounded way of doing business. We appreciate the people who have stuck with us over the years. It’s all about doing the work and being fair. We don't need a mission statement to tell us to do a good job. We just show up and do what needs doing every morning until it's time to head home.
