Focus The Ultimate

Our spot is at AB 12, Sector 1, in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. It’s a quiet enough street compared to some other parts of the city, which is nice when you’re trying to get things done. We have a few rooms here where people gather. The furniture is mostly wooden and has that smell of old polish. We spend most of our time sitting at our desks, looking over papers or talking to people who come through the door. It’s not a very big place, so you end up knowing everyone who works here pretty well. We have a small corner for making tea, which we do several times a day because that’s just how we get through the afternoon. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata is so heavy that you can hear it thumping on the roof, and we just have to wait for it to stop before anyone can leave. There are some stacks of files that have been sitting on the shelf for months, and we keep saying we’ll move them, but we never do. It’s a very plain environment, no big corporate logos or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that’s waiting for us, and try to keep things organized. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and being in Sector 1 makes it easy for people to find us when they need to stop by for a visit.
