Essel Mining & Industries Ltd.

Our office in the Lake Town area of Kolkata is situated on the fourth floor of Radha Court. It is right on S K Dev Road, and if you are familiar with the area, it is quite close to where the UTI Bank is or used to be nearby. Since we are up on the fourth floor, we get a bit of a view of the busy street below, which is almost always packed with people and traffic. This is a central spot for our administrative work at Essel Mining & Industries Ltd. The building isn't anything spectacular to look at, just a typical multi-story commercial and residential mix that you find all over this part of the city. We have a decent amount of space inside, but it is mostly filled with desks and tall stacks of folders. It can get pretty loud with all the horns honking from S K Dev Road, but after a while, you just stop noticing the noise. Most of the people here take local transport or the bus to get to work, and we usually grab our lunch from one of the small food shops downstairs. It is a practical location that makes it easy for us to stay connected with our other branches and the various people we do business with. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of signs; you just take the lift up and you are at our door. It is a straightforward office for people who have work to manage.
