Tulsighata is where we've been for a while now. Most days here at Engineers & Architects start early, especially when the weather in South 24 Pgs is unpredictable. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and then going out to the sites in Joynagar or Nimpith to see how things are actually moving. It isn't always smooth. Sometimes the bricks are late or the rain stops everything, but that is just how it goes here. We aren't some big city firm with glass walls. Our office in Tulsighata is simple. We deal with local people and we understand the land around here. It takes a lot of patience to get a building right. We use our hands and our heads. Most of the time, our boots are muddy from walking around the plots. People know where to find us if they need a plan drawn up or someone to look at their foundation. We don't have a fancy reception desk, just a couple of tables and chairs where we drink tea and talk about the next project. It’s hard work, but seeing a house finally stand up straight in our own neighborhood makes it worth the effort. We just keep doing what we know, day after day, trying to help folks build something that lasts without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
